Our Spiritual Motto
“Prayer, Mercy, and Fidelity — for the Glory of God and the Salvation of Souls.”
This motto expresses the spirit of Angelus Outreach: a life rooted first in prayer, expressed through the spiritual and corporal works of mercy, and lived in faithful obedience to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Inspired by the Angelus, the prayer that calls the faithful throughout the day to remember the mystery of the Incarnation, our community seeks to sanctify daily life through prayer and charity. As the Angelus reminds the Church that “the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us,” so too our apostolate strives to bring the love of Christ into the world through prayer, service, and devotion.
Our Spirituality & Community Life
The heart of Angelus Outreach is prayer. Before any work of charity can bear fruit, it must first be rooted in devotion to God and fidelity to the life of the Church. Inspired by the prayer of the Angelus and the rhythm of the Church’s sacred traditions, our apostolate seeks to unite prayer with the spiritual and corporal works of mercy.
In this spirit, Angelus Outreach is structured in the form of a lay religious-style community for men and women who desire to support the mission of the Church while remaining in their ordinary state of life. Members are united with our apostolate through a shared commitment to prayer, charity, and fidelity to Catholic teaching.
Prayer & Liturgical Life
Our community’s foundation is continual prayer for the Church, for the living and the dead, and for the conversion of sinners. Members are invited to unite themselves with this mission through daily prayer and through the intentions of the apostolate.
Angelus Outreach also hosts public monthly liturgies at a local parish. These gatherings are open to all and do not require membership. They provide an opportunity for the faithful to pray together, strengthen devotion, and grow in the spiritual life.
Membership in the Angelus Outreach Community
Community membership allows the faithful to unite themselves more closely with the prayer and charitable mission of the apostolate.
Members receive:
-
Weekly or monthly prayer mission updates so the entire community remains united in prayer
-
Opportunities to volunteer at events, charitable works, and outreach efforts
-
Opportunities to assist with fundraising preparation, including producing and preparing goods for events and charitable initiatives
-
Participation in the shared spiritual mission of Angelus Outreach
Joining the Community
Membership in the Angelus Outreach Community is open to faithful Catholics who desire to unite themselves with our prayer and charitable work.
Annual membership dues are $35, which help support the mission and charitable initiatives of the apostolate.
By joining the Angelus Outreach Community, members become part of a spiritual fellowship dedicated to prayer, works of mercy, and the renewal of Catholic life—all ordered toward the glory of God and the salvation of souls.
Opportunities for Leadership and Service
Most members of the Angelus Outreach Community participate in the apostolate through prayer, charitable service, and support for our mission. Membership itself does not carry any role in the governance of the organization, which is entrusted to the Board of Directors and appointed officers in accordance with the organization’s governing documents.
From time to time, however, the Board of Directors may invite members who have demonstrated fidelity to the mission, reliability in service, and commitment to the spiritual life of the apostolate to assume greater responsibility. In such cases, members may be asked to serve as officers or to join the Board of Directors if a need arises.
Leadership within Angelus Outreach is understood not as authority for its own sake, but as a form of humble service to the Church and to the mission of the apostolate, always ordered toward the glory of God and the salvation of souls.
